You were the finest nonagenarian that ever lived. You were a great orator, comedian and historian. You had a good memory. You were very optimistic about life and never despaired. You were bold, brave, truthful, honest and loved singing country music and old romantic songs with MAMA. You did not joke with the education of your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You told us stories about Benin Kingdom, Origin of Issele-Uku, etc. You gave us a vivid picture of the family genealogy of Idumu-Ugala Clan of Ogboli in Issele-Uku. You taught us the Issele-Uku dialect. You believed that the language of any town is the passport cum visa to that town and because of this, you were fluent in Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and even Latin. You loved playing tennis which helped your physique. You had a good command of English and corrected our essays and letters. You were an excellent philanthropist. Your trademark was your nice set of teeth. Your name opened doors for us all. We thank you for being in our lives these past 93 years.Your happiest day was Easter Sunday of 2012 when you returned to Sacrament at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, University of Ibadan. I thank God you gave your life to Christ, you saw your 93rd birthday and 65th wedding anniversary. To God be all the glory for a very eventful life well spent. Your Granddaughter, Amas
